Finn Greig is an artist living and working in Essex, originally from Hackney, East London. After dedicating 20 years to being a youth worker, he left in early 2024 and began reconnecting with his art practice.

 

Using painting as a way of looking, processing, feeling and communicating, Finn would describe his work as "different on different days". Finn spends time painting 'plein air', exploring colour in his studio, working from photographs, intuitively painting self-portraits and expressions of his life journey. Finn often looks at subject matters ranging from having open heart surgery, being trans and queer as well as painting large landscapes with roads that disappear somewhere, recognising the journey of life and not knowing the destination.
